 To help give an idea of the sizes of each of the actual ORIGINAL paintings, I'm 5'7" and I am scaled next to each painting, as per it's original size. | Behind a Smile Named so because someone touched my life in a profound way. It seemed, to me, that the picture turned out 'prettier' than I felt the event merited and I enjoyed painting it too so I followed it fairly swiftly with the more strident 'Ugliness Behind a Smile' which actually felt more appropriate and which I thought 'cleansed' me to a degree.
'Behind a smile' was probably a quiet reflection, whilst its sequel was far noisier and more vigorous!
